    • 190g of plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 3 ripe bananas
    • 220g of brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
    • 2 eggs
    • 125g of Dairygold Baking Block (melted & cooled)

Banana bread is fast becoming a family favourite. Our delicious recipe is both easy to make and is the perfect snack for anytime of the day.

Ingredients

  • 190g of plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 220g of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 125g of Dairygold Baking Block (melted & cooled)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl add the flour, baking powder, brown sugar & the ground cinnamon.

Melt the Dairygold Baking Block in a microwave & add to the mixture.

Beat 2 eggs & mash 3 bananas in two seperate bowls, then add both to the mixture.

Mix all ingredients into a sticky batter.

Add the batter to a lightly greased baking tin.

Place in a pre-heated oven ar 180ºC for 40/45 minutes.

Remove from oven & leave in the tray to cool for 10 minutes.

Now remove and leave on a wire rack to cool even further.
