No-Hassle Waffles

We all remember the advertising jingle from our childhoods, and it’s true: potato waffles really do make for a versatile lunch or teatime plate-filler. And when time is tight, you can easily rustle up a couple on their own. Add some Dairygold and have some classic condiments to hand, and you’ve got perfect food in a hurry.

Ingredients

  • 2 potato waffles
  • 1 tbsp / 15g Dairygold
  • Vinegar (optional)
  • Tomato ketchup (optional)

Instructions

Grill or toast the waffles according to their packet’s instructions.

Once warm and ready to be served on their plate, divide your scoop of Dairygold over both waffles. As it melts, spread it around to soak it in and really bring out the flavour.

Serve with ketchup and vinegar for a no-fuss, “quicker than chips” bite.

If you’d like to make a bit more of them, serve with beans and fish fingers, or simply add some thyme to your scoop of Dairygold before you spread it on top.
